The fee is $75 per person, but early-bird registrations received by May 31 will be $65 each. July 21 at Stonehedges Golf Course, 549 Stevens Road. This will provide a fun and entertaining environment for great golf, food and prizes.
The captain-and-crew tournament will be held, rain or shine, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. This year, its members are already hard at work planning to host their first golf tournament, and it is not too soon to get the word out so folks can get it on the calendar and start forming their teams. Groton Rotary has found creative ways to raise the financial support needed for the equally creative things it has accomplished through the years. While much of what these dedicated Rotarians do involves contributions of their time and the kindness of their hearts, funding is also often required to “get the job done.”
The Groton Rotary Club has been “alive and well” and doing great things for our community, as well as for both regional and international Rotary projects for 80 years.
